Justice//Fairness

I'm not using "the one" title anymore.. because...err... it's getting hard. And I'm bored.

Anyway.

Today is a social justice awareness day. I often joke that when God made me, He was half angry and half sad for the injustice that the human inflict to each other. I use this excuse for being a crybaby every single time I watch anything that remotely evoke human emotions. I cried on card aisle for goodness sake *roll eyes*

A lot of people identify justice with fairness. That everyone is getting the same thing. Equal slice of a big pie of life. I beg to differ.

Justice is about equal opportunity. It's about having the access to something that you need and to obtain it as the need arises. What they do or whether they utilize the access is far beyond our power.

Everyone should have and access to education.
To clean water.
To a shelter and a safe haven.
To love and be loved in return.
To acquire enough hugs as the season of life require
To have clean sheets.
To play and enjoy life
To our family's daily bread
To be treated as a human being-with kindness and respect.

After all, isn't that what Jesus is coming down to earth for? To give us access to the Father when we need it. The funny thing is that nothing in Jesus' life is fair. His birth, His life, and ultimately His death. He was misunderstood, mistreated and severely judged. He went through every unfairness that is possible to a human being to give us the justice that we desperately need.

And as we have received, we ought to give away freely.

(and I honestly can find any pic that is sufficed for this blog. Oopsie...)
